VICTORIA, January 30, 2020 —The Chartered Professional Accountants of British Columbia (CPABC) is proud to recognize Mark Dickie, FCPA, FCA, and Paul Murray, FCPA, FCGA, with a fellowship, the highest distinction that is bestowed upon a CPA within the accounting profession. Nominated and selected by a committee of their peers, CPABC’s Fellows are leaders, innovators, and mentors known for their dedication and commitment to their communities and to the CPA profession.
Paul Murray, FCPA, FCGA, is the principal consultant at Brentwood Advisory Group in Brentwood Bay. Previously, he served as the director of financial services and chief financial officer with the District of Central Saanich, chief administrative officer with the District of Saanich, and with other municipal governments. Murray’s leadership roles also encompass acting as interim executive director and president (2008-2010) of the Government Finance Officers Association of British Columbia (GFOABC) and as a board member with the Local Government Management Association (LGMA) since 2011, most recently as president.
